Several weeks ago...haha...we learned about the importance of being patient. We read Pie in the Sky by Lois Ehlert which is about a little girl waiting through all four seasons for her cherry tree to grow and produce fruit. We related her patience to the classroom and discussed why we must be patient with each other. We then made 4 of our own pies from scratch (minus the fruit filling) with the assistance of my wonderful sister! Please enjoy the pictures below of your kiddos being patient while they wait their turns to add ingredients, stir, bake, and eat the pie!
